Step into the historic Bradbury Building and enjoy one of the finest cups of coffee there is. The San Francisco-based chain opened up its doors on the last day of 2016 at 300 South Broadway in downtown Los Angeles.
With locations around Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, and Tokyo, Blue Bottle infuses intelligent design with a good, strong cup of coffee. Known for their New Orleans coffee (think espresso roasted with chicory, a touch of simple syrup, and milk), the company draws inspiration from the buildings they reside in to provide consistently great beverages in new and dynamic settings around the world.
“Jo Nagasaka of Schemata, the architect behind our Tokyo cafes, infuses the majesty of the Bradbury with a dose of simplicity in our ground-floor cafe,” Blue Bottle elaborates. “The understated lightness of Baltic birch wood on the counters contrasts with the flooring, which has been sanded to reveal the building’s original terrazzo tile and concrete.”
Patrons of Blue Bottle at the Bradbury can enjoy pour-over coffee, espresso, and espresso drinks with pastries and an assortment of toasts. The shop is open 7am to 6pm weekdays, 8am to 6pm weekends.
