The event was followed by an after party in the hotel, appropriately accompanied by an ensemble playing classical music.
Executive producer Roman Coppola and director Paul Weitz joined actors Malcolm McDowell, Bernadette Peters, Lola Kirke, Gael Garcia Bernal and Saffron Burrows for a panel discussion led by film and TV critic, Tom O’Neil. They shared details of production on the comedic drama series and hinted at possible new romances.
The show – about sex, drugs and classical music – was recently renewed for a third season, although the cast stayed tight-lipped on what we can expect to see. Bernal, who won the Golden Globe for best actor in a comedy series for his portrayal of brash orchestra conductor, Rodrigo, did however mention that he’s very happy with the success of this past year, and hopes it gives more life to the characters.
