Booth One to open at Ambassador Chicago this fall

The long awaited restaurant in the Gold Coast’s Ambassador Chicago is opening Fall 2017 as announced in Eater.com. Booth One, from Lettuce Entertain You Enterprises, is the rebirth of the legendary Pump Room restaurant, which LEYE owned from 1976-1998.

Former Tru chef Rick Tramonto, who pushed Tru toward Michelin-star status, will work with LEYE as a partner. Tramonto will be curating Booth One’s menu with chef Doug Psaltis, who is currently at Sushi-San in River North. The new restaurant will feature a more contemporary look- saying goodbye to the globe lights hanging from the ceiling- while maintaining the historic feel of the Pump Room.

The opening of Booth One comes with an exciting sweepstakes featuring a chance to win the ultimate Chicago Staycation. The winner will get a two-night stay at the Ambassador Chicago, $500 gift card to Booth One, breakfast-in-bed room service, and two Chicago Cubs tickets. You can enter for a chance to win here.

Booth One is aiming for a late fall 2017 opening. You can stay up to date on the progress through their website, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
