Runyon Canyon has reopened

Two blocks from Hollywood Boulevard, just west of the 101 and south of Mulholland Drive, sits one of LA’s most popular hiking trails: Runyon Canyon. The landmark spot–known for sweeping city views and people-watching–has been closed for the past four months to replace the ageing water pipe running through it. Today, we’re happy to report that not only has it reopened, but there’s all new amenities for you to enjoy too.

Amongst the park’s facelift are newly-repaved sections of its trails, more water fountains along the main trail all the way up, and plenty of spots for your canine pals to be off-leash.

If getting a good Instagram shot or spotting a celeb isn’t incentive enough to get you back out in nature, the trail is also home to Cobra Fitness Club, which offers free, twice-weekly group hikes with party-photog-turned-wellness-guru, Mark “The Cobrasnake” Hunter. See you there.
