We’re pleased to report that construction on Blue Bottle Coffee’s highly-anticipated new downtown Los Angeles space in the historic Bradbury Building has commenced. Java fans can be sure to expect a selection of delicious and sustainable coffee alongside pastries and a slew of other tasty snacks to be sold at the corner of 3rd and Broadway.
Blue Bottle is a coffee roaster and retailer headquartered in Oakland, California. The company is considered a major player in third wave coffee, with a strict focus on single-origin beans. In recent years the Bay Area pour-over purveyors have set up shop all over LA, with outposts in Echo Park, Culver City, Beverly Boulevard, in Venice on Abbot Kinney, and on Mateo in the Arts District.
While there’s no official open date just yet for the Bradbury Building location, we’ll keep you posted on the progress. Until then, you’ve got time to start deciding between the sparkling cherry, brown butter, maple candy El Salvador Aida Batlle Kilimanjaro, or the papaya, orange blossom, caramel from Panama Boquete Elida Estate.
